There has been great concern with Iran in recent months, why? This is because of sources and the media’s somewhat unnerving claims that Iran is in the process of attempting to build nuclear warheads.
In my opinion one of the main factors in this escalation is that Iran fails to fully comply with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the agency released a statement revealing that Iran has not notified the agency that any desire to manufacture facilities that could be used to enrich atomic materials has been submitted to them.
The international community has been exposed to the diabolic illegal invasion of Iraq based of weapons of mass destruction and the last action any government wants to take now is to repeat what happened in 2003.
Iran has also heightened the tensions between itself and the U.S by allegedly bringing down an American UAV using electronic equipment and refuses to return the drone to the Americans.
A reason for bringing down this drone you may ask? The reason it was within Iranian airspace was to search for possible nuclear weapons, but was brought down by a cyber attack.
In the past few days Iran has threatened to block the Persian Gulf where several hundreds of thousands barrels of oil pass everyday.
The UK’s defence secretary Phil Hammond made a statement expressing that the UK will take the necessary action to ensure that the Gulf stays open and the Royal Navy wi step in to enforce that statement of Iran carries out its plans.
The reason Iran has threatened to close the Straight of Hormuz is because of the U.S allegations that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, the claims that they will close it is in retaliation to these allegations.
Could this lead to another invasion of a middle-eastern country…?
